During these difficult times, the Helping Hand Program at Unity Temple on the Plaza is providing a hearty lunch from DiCapo foods to those in need every Sunday. There is a distribution station in front of the Temple for those who want to pick up a meal. In addition, volunteers are delivering food around town to the people who reside under the bridges and make their living holding a sign on the street corners. Each Sunday, 150 lunches are provided and although that doesn’t solve the problem it does make it better.
If you would like to financially support this mission it would be greatly appreciated. You may do so by sending a text on your mobile, give online on our website or mail a check to Unity Temple.
The primary purpose is to provide necessities like coats, hoodies, socks, gloves, sweaters, nutritional snacks, water bottles, etc., for the homeless and indigent people in the area. You can participate in this community outreach program by donating any of the essentials from the list below, or by making a monetary donation to Temple Helping Hand Program.
