Join Nicoya and Victor as we ease back into physical proximity while enjoying the beautiful outdoors and with masks during the sharing time. We will experience walking meditations from several different traditions.
1. Theis park, use Kauffman gardens parking. The east edge of the park abuts Kauffman Gardens. This gives us option of using Kauffman Gardens for walking if we need accessibility accommodations.
-Welcome, bell, dedication
-15 min guided meditation in stillness (standing, seated, lying down)
-5 min orientation to walking meditation
-20 min walking. This will be silent, Plum Village style where we move in a line. During other sessions, we could offer other styles of walking meditation such a faster kinhin (Zen) style, Shinzen Young's unique AutoWalk, or free exploration of park grounds.
-5 min to return to group, orient to sharing circle.
-10-15 min sharing circle.
3. Rain - This is offered rain or shine! (no lightning of course)
4. Bring a chair and water!
5. There is no fee for this event but love offerings are welcome.
