Chaplains

 

The Unity Temple Prayer Chaplains are here to support you on your spiritual journey by creating and holding sacred space, listening, and praying in confidence with all who ask for prayer.

The Prayer Chaplains serve the congregation by:

  • One-on-one prayer before and after every Sunday and Wednesday Evening Services.
  • Create and hold sacred spiritual space with others. Lovingly listen to what is heard. Agree to maintain the strictest of confidence
  • Periodically calling Unity Temple Members to offer confidential prayer.
  • Making hospital visits upon request from congregants.

If you are considering becoming a Chaplain please contact us for more information. It is a unique service that differs from other volunteer opportunities in terms of the commitment level and responsibilities. Not only do you serve the membership of our congregation, you will embark on a deeply personal spiritual journey.
