Multi-faceted & Multi-talented
SCOTT MCDONALD, Piano & Vocals
Performing with friends & colleagues, Tim Whitmer & The Consort Band

Scott’s career began when he started playing piano at the tender age of
seven.  By the time he was in high school, he was selected by Stan Kenton as
the “Best High School Jazz Pianist” in a statewide Jazz Band competition in
South Carolina.

A music scholarship from the UMKC Conservatory of Music brought him to
Kansas City where he studied Classical piano under John McIntyre and Jazz
piano with the late, great George Salisbury.  He performed with the
Conservatory Jazz Band at the Montreux International Jazz Festival in
Switzerland, and graduated with a Bachelor of Music Theory degree.

Professionally he’s played for Andy Williams and Glen Campbell, and
composed, arranged, directed and performed in productions for both Starlight
and Missouri Repertory Theaters.

Scott has long-standing performance engagements at premier local hotels,
restaurants, and country clubs.  Don’t miss the unique opportunity to hear
him in concert at Unity Temple on the Plaza and be sure to look for him on
the KC music scene.
