Help Serve Meals, Saturday, January 12, 2019, 9:00am - 11:00am. Please plan to come help and please share the invite with family, friends and coworkers who could help as well! There will be a carpool from the HyVee parking lot (at 95th & Antioch). We will meet at 8:30 am (It's about a 15-minute drive from there.) Please let me know if you want to carpool so I can enroll enough drivers. You don't need to bring anything or know anything special in order to participate. Just show up with your open heart and the Love of Spirit within you!  Children are welcome too.  If they are younger than 8 years old, they can serve along with an adult -- what a great way to teach them about service at a young age!

St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th Street, Kansas City, KS 66102

Please RSVP and let Deb know if you can join us. email: debmathine@hotmail.com or phone 816-868-3296

We meet the 2nd Saturday of each month.

If you can read this, help someone who can’t. The need is great. Right now there are over 225,000 adults and teens in the Kansas City area who read at or below a 5th grade level. They struggle to understand medical instructions, fill out job applications, and read bus schedules. At any time, dozens are waiting for a chance to learn reading and writing skills that can change their lives.

Literacy Kansas City has an immediate need for volunteer tutors. Please be a hero and help change a life forever by becoming a tutor. Contact Literacy Kansas City Volunteer Manager Haley Box at hbox@literacykc.org or call 816-333-9332.
